BNP is going through a tough time in the current context. Meanwhile, the party is not going to the elections. BNP and allied organizations are passing the time by boycotting elections and agitation. Most of the leaders are currently in jail again but the activists are in hiding as per party instructions. But among them, one of the disobedient – brave – who has retained the BNP politics of Punyabhoomi Sylhet with the shadow of a hero is the former organizing secretary of Sylhet District BNP, a hero of Fenchuganj Upazila of Sylhet, Abdul Ahad Khan Jamal, the current convener of Sylhet District Sechchasevak Dal.

According to the central instructions of BNP, there is no such day that Jamal was not in the field. He took the workers in the car and raised slogans on foot. How oppressed, how many attacks – cases, yet this Bir Khan Jamal does not care about anything.

He fulfilled all the programs of BNP in the last one month with responsibility. But Sylhet district BNP president Qayyum Chowdhury or any Trinamool leader was not seen in the field. It is as if Abdul Ahad Khan Jamal is standing alone at the edge of politics and handling his party.
