Naz-Anis-Mia of Fenchuganj, Sylhet, a British citizen of Bangladeshi origin, is participating in the British national election on July 4 as a nominated candidate of the Scottish National Party (SNP) from Dunform Line and Donner seats. He was elected councilor in 2022.

SNP has a lot of expectations around him in this election. Because Naz-Anis-Mia is a wise and humanitarian personality. Due to which there is a lot of excitement around him.

Apart from this, the expatriate Bangladeshis living in Britain think that this is the first time that a Bangladeshi male is going to become a British MP. Besides Naz-Anis-Mia being the children of Sylhet, there is a possibility that she will get more votes. Because most of the citizens living in UK are residents of Sylhet.

There are many speculations about this. Before this, Tulip Siddique, Rushnara Ali were MPs, but Naz-Anis-Miar is likely to become the first male MP.

In this election, a total of 34 people are participating in the election, including the Conservative Party and the Left Party and Independents.

But all eyes are only on Naz-Anis-Mia. This is mainly because his party SNP is currently in power.
